Rome, Oct 23 (RIA Novosti) Organised crime is the most profitable business in Italy, according to a report on small and medium-sized firms submitted to the interior ministry.According to the document, annual income from organised crime in the country amounts to 90 billion euros ($127.7 billion), or seven percent of the country's Gross Domestic Product (GDP).The mafia makes around 30 million euros ($43 billion) annually from protection rackets alone that are imposed on some 150,000 Italian companies, the report said.
