PHILADELPHIA, Dec. 8 Gilbert Arenas had 32 points and Washington overcame a 20-point second- quarter deficit Friday night for a 113-98 victory at Philadelphia.

The Wizards used a 22-6 run to come within 52-48 at halftime, and then out-scored Philadelphia, 33-21, in the third quarter to seize control of the contest.

Arenas finished with three rebounds and three assists. Caron Butler totaled 20 points, 11 rebounds, eight rebounds, two assists and three steals; DeShawn Stevenson had 17 points and four assists; and Brendan Haywood had 12 points and seven rebounds for the Wizards, who started the season by losing a franchise-record eight straight games away from home.

Chris Webber had 21 points, 10 rebounds and five assists for the 76ers, whose losing streak grew to six games in a row.

Kyle Korver had 20 points, five rebounds and four assists; while Andre Iguodala added 13 points, six rebounds and seven assists.

Sixers Chairman Ed Snider confirmed that star guard Allen Iverson will be traded. The team sent Iverson home before the game due to disciplinary issues.
