Gatorade to name drink after Tiger Woods

New York, Oct 17 (Xinhua) Golf legend Tiger Woods will have his own brand of sports drink next year to be launched by Gatorade.This is Woods' first licensing agreement and Gatorade will introduce 'Gatorade Tiger' next March, with more products to follow said the company in a statement Tuesday.Woods will himself choose the flavours, and the drink in cherry, citrus and grape blends will be available first.According to reports, the company has paid Woods as much as $100 million, moving him closer to the $1 billion mark in career endorsements.'I'm eager to launch my first signature product in a few months and look forward to developing additional sports performance beverages with Gatorade in the coming years,' Woods said in a statement.
