Baghdad - At least nine people were killed and 45 wounded Thursday in a suicide attack in Kirkuk province, an Iraqi police source said. The attacker blew himself up while the Kirkuk traffic director colonel Bistoun Mahmoud was heading for home at 3.45 pm, killing seven civilians and two policemen and wounding 45, the source added.
Ten of the injured were in serious condition, while Mahmoud survived.
