New discovery shows mammals hunted dinosaurs

A startling discovery has been made by scientists in a remote village in China where they have identified the fossilized remains of a tiny dinosaur in the stomach of a mammal, putting to rest all the previous notions that early mammals could not possibly attack and eat a dinosaur.
Scientists say this is the first proof that mammals hunted small dinosaurs some 130 million years ago, and almost contradicts conventional theory that early mammals couldn't possibly attack and eat a dinosaur because they were timid, small-sized creatures.
The fossil found was of a mammal measuring 2 feet long and probably weighs about 15 pounds, and the victim was a very young “parrot dinosaur” that measured about 5 inches long.
Another mammal fossil found at the same site claims the distinction of being the largest early mammal ever found. It is from the family of Repenomamus and is more than 3 feet long with a likely weight of more than 30 pounds.
“This new evidence gives us a drastically new picture,” said scientists.
The mammal found belongs to a species called Repenomamus robustus with no modern relatives, while the “parrot dinosaur” belongs to species called Psittacosaurus.
Psittacosaurus were fast-moving plant-eater dinosaurs and gets it name “parrot dinosaur” because it had a small head with a curved, horny beak. Its arms were much shorter than its legs. Adults grew to be 6 feet long.
The remains still are recognizable, indicating that Repenomamus robustus ripped its prey like a crocodile, but probably had not developed the ability to chew food.

Here is my two cents. Dragons mentioned in the bible are dinosaurs. The definition of the word dinosaur is only hundreds of years old. The great flood during the time of Noah, volcano eruptions and earth quakes, and other enviromental changes also took a toll on the dragon. Besides those events, man also most likely slayed dragons to extintion. Just as we have killed many animals today. This is why some hunting is regulated, to prevent extinction. What a trophy the head of a giant beast would be compared to a deer. This is why they are gone. I believe that we coexisted with dinosaurs and other rare and exotic beasts. Also that some may still exist. Which brings me to the end of what I am typing. I do not believe in evolution that we have all been taught. Nor, do I believe in the timeline of millions of years. I have read an article of from a University in Arizona of a dinosaur dating back only 10,000 years by carbon dating. Wow, big difference between millions and thousands. You don't need to be good at math to realize that. I have encountered many unbelievers in my time and so will you. In fact you may be one. If you are an unbeliever I encourage you to investigate. Just like when you cut would measure twice before you cut, or like getting a second opinion from a doctor when something is wrong with you. There is a vast amount of information out there today. Now go find it. Ask questions and examine the answers. We believe what we want to believe, just like our parents told us we only hear what we want to hear. If you are reading this now, there just may be a reason for it. Ok it is late and by now if you read this you have formed an opinion. GOD bless you even if you don't believe in GOD.

how can anyone say garbage when there is evidence all around us of the possibilities that animals eat other animals, crockodiles will eat anything whole, snakes will eat other snakes without chewing, and we were not there 130 million years agoe to dispute it. there are things in this world and out of this world that exsist but because we did not see it with our own eyes mean that it dont exist.

What kind of garbage web site is this. Is this the National Enquirer? Is this a web site for right wing religious nuts who claim the earth is only 10,000 years old and man walked with dinosaurs? This web site is a joke. I got here by following a Google news article on dinosaurs, which I thought was a joke. Now I see the joke is anyone who reads this National Enquirer garbage and thinks there is any truth to it.
