New York, Oct 4 - Former Eagles band member Don Felder will be writing a memoir about his life as part of the legendary band.Pagesix.com reports that his band mates Don Henley and Glenn Frey tied to not grant permission for it to be published. The book will be titled 'Heaven and Hell: My Life as an Eagle' and will include juicy tales of sex and drugs. A source says that Hyperion, the publishing company, juiced up that book are luctantly and at the 11th hour after a fierce, five-year lawsuit behind closed doors which has cost millions and which has been fought vehemently by Felder'.The source added: 'The book was printed and ready for October distribution when Henley, Frey and their manager, Irving Azoff, went back to court and won the right to have a cluster of petty, minor changes made. Even though Felder offered to pay for a reprint, an exasperated Hyperion decided enough was enough.'Felder co-wrote the hit song 'Hotel California' and signed a nondisclosure statement when he was fired from the group in 2001. The band mates seem to be more concerned about Felder revealing details of finances and how the money was split unfairly.
