LOS ANGELES, Oct. 3 More closely guarded secrets have made it off the set of Steven Spielberg's Hollywood film "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull."
Computers and photographs from the eagerly awaited sequel have been stolen, and DreamWorks Pictures SKG has asked local law enforcement to investigate, a studio spokeswoman told the Los Angeles Times.
She declined to reveal where and when the theft took place and officials from the Los Angeles Police Department, the FBI and the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department could not immediately confirm they were investigating.
Marvin Levy, Spielberg's spokesman, said the famed director feared the thieves might try to sell the materials.
"We want to warn the media that anything that is offered is stolen property," Levy said. "We know it is out there."
News of the incident comes shortly after Tyler Nelson, an actor with a bit part in the film, disclosed plot details to the Edmond (Okla.) Sun.
