US exhibition devoted to late soul singer Otis Redding =Bielefeld, Germany - A year-long exhibition commemorating the 40th anniversary of the death of U.S. soul singer Otis Redding - on December 10, 1967 - has opened in his home state of Georgia, Georgia tourism officials said in Bielefeld.
Entitled I have Got Dreams to Remember, the exhibition is in the Georgia Music Hall of Fame, in Macon.
The some 100 exhibits include photographs, letters and manuscripts of song lyrics. Visitors can also listen to excerpts of Redding's concerts with hits such as Sittin' On the Dock Of the Bay, as well as interviews that he gave.
The Georgia Music Hall of Fame is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday from 1 to 5 p.m. Admission costs around 8 dollars. ---
Guided tours to rutting deer in Andalusia =
Frankfurt - Deer rutting season gets under way in late September in the southern Spanish province of Cadiz, in the Andalusian region, Spanish tourism officials noted in Frankfurt. Until early November, the cork oat forests of Los Alcornocales Natural Park will ring out with belling by thousands of stags vying for the affections of hinds.
A number of companies are offering guided tours through the park during the rutting season, and participants can watch stags spar with their antlers. Some 40,000 deer live in the park.

Sea Cloud Cruises to add sailing ship to fleet
Hamburg - The luxury tall ships Sea Cloud and Sea Cloud II will get a "big sister" in autumn 2009, the Hamburg-based Sea Cloud Cruises announced. The shipping company's owner, Hermann Ebel, said that the Sea Cloud Hussar would be the biggest full-rigged passenger tall ship ever.
To be built in a shipyard in Vigo, Spain, the three-masted Sea Cloud Hussar will be 135 metres in length and have room for up to 136 passengers. Ebel said the new sailing ship would help Sea Cloud Cruises meet demand, which had exceeded capacity for years. Construction costs were not disclosed.
