Woking, Britain - Formula One team McLaren-Mercedes on Friday said they would not appeal the sentence handed down by the sports governing body FIA after they had been found to have secret Ferrari documents in their possession. The FIA World Council last week fined McLaren 100 million dollars and docked them all points they had in the constructors' standings.

McLaren drivers Lewis Hamilton and Fernando Alonso kept their points in the drivers' standings though and continue to lead the championship.
