London, Sep 21 - America Ferrera, star of the hit TV show 'Ugly Betty', has refuted claims that she gave in to pressure to lose weight.According to contactmusic.com, Ferrera lost 20 pounds and this prompted criticism from people who considered her a role model for normal-sized women.But Ferrera said she lost weight because of the hectic shooting schedule. She admitted she feels slimmer and said: 'I feel like I'm a regular person. I'm a size 10 or 12, which is totally normal. But I do feel that since I wanted to get in better shape, there has been a bit of a backlash.'
