LONDON, Sept. 19 Two unrelated men made first appearances in a London court Wednesday to face charges related to terror-linked bomb-making charges.
An unidentified 17-year-old from the northern region of West Yorkshire was arrested and charged with possession of material for terrorism purposes and collection or possession of information useful in the preparation of an act of terrorism, The Sun reported.
Tuesday, police arrested Raingzieb Ahmed, 32, at Heathrow Airport as he arrived on a flight from Pakistan. The Manchester resident was charged with three terror-related offenses, including one of possessing a backpack that contained traces of explosives.
Few other details were released about Ahmed's prosecution, although the report said the alleged offenses were committed between April 22, 2004, and Jan. 24, 2007, the newspaper said.
