London, Sep 18 - Here's a sample of some of the gossip and transfer rumours from England's newspapers Tuesday about Premier League clubs:

Chelsea could have up to 4,000 empty seats at Stamford Bridge for their Champions League tie against Rosenberg, despite pricing adult tickets at 36 pounds. (Times)

Dean Ashton has been sent a suit by the Football Association and is waiting in the wings for a recall to the England team after Emile Heskey's injury. (Mirror)

Wayne Rooney says he should have been playing weeks ago after his latest broken metatarsal but manager Sir Alex Ferguson has been cautious to bring back the Manchester United striker. (Times)

Gabriel Heinze was so confident of his move to Liverpool from Manchester United that he celebrated by buying a brand new 74,000-pound Porsche. But when the move went pear-shaped, Heinze, who eventually joined Real Madrid, was forced to sell it back for a 7,000-pound loss. (Mail)

Tottenham have bid 1.5 million pounds for 17-year-old Nigerian Macauley Chrisantus, who was the top scorer at the Under-17 World Cup and can move from Nigeria outside the transfer window as he is not under contract. (Sun)

Jurgen Klinsmann says he is not interested in managing Tottenham because they are too small and he wants to take charge at a Champions League club. (Express)

Sevilla coach Juande Ramos has cranked up the pressure on Spurs manager Martin Jol by saying he would like to work in England. (Mirror)

Newcastle United's Sam Allardyce is the Premier League manager Chelsea's Jose Mourinho would least like to pick a fight with. (Mail)

Allardyce reckons Rafael Benitez is lucky to be in his managerial job at Liverpool after some poor finishes in the Premier League. He says the Spaniard's exploits in the Champions League have saved him but he doesn't understand that in England it is the top flight, which is considered more important. (Mirror)

Nicky Butt will be offered a new contract in the summer to keep him at Newcastle. (Mirror)

Bolton Wanderers manager Sammy Lee has six games to save his job after losing five of their six Premier League matches. (Mirror)
