PHILADELPHIA, Sept. 14 Philadelphia Eagles backup quarterback A.J. Feeley Friday underwent a second round of surgery to repair a broken bone in his left hand.
Feeley broke the third metacarpal bone in his non-throwing hand during the Eagles' pre-season finale.
He had surgery Aug. 31, but when the hand began to swell this week, doctors suspected implanted screws had come loose.
The primary backup for starter Donovan McNabb, Feeley is questionable for Monday night's Week 2 game against the Washington Redskins. If he is unable to play, rookie Kevin Kolb would be the primary backup.
