Millions of fans are rushing to book tickets for the Led Zeppelin concert due to be held at the O2 arena in London on 26 November, according to promoter Harvey Goldsmith.
The remaining members of the band have got together for a reunion concert, which they will be playing at the 20,000-capacity arena. Tickets cost £125 and it is reported that 20 million people have registered at the concert's website.
Organizers have asked people to be patient and that they will try to fulfill the demand.
"We just hope and pray that those people who get a ticket in a ballot are just going to act accordingly," Goldsmith said, warning fans not to but tickets on Internet auction sites as they are bound to be cancelled. "They might have paid the money but they ain't going to get the ticket," he added.
Robert Plant, Jimmy Page and John Paul Jones will play for one more time at London in the memory of Atlantic Records founder Ahmet Ertegun. John Bonham's son, Jason will replace his father in the drums section, it is reported.
Bonham's death in 1980 caused the break up of the band. The band had said they could not possibly replace him and had hence broken up.
Pete Townsend, Foreigner, Bill Wyman and Paolo Nutini are also due to perform at the O2 arena.
