FRANKFURT, Germany, Sept. 9 German authorities are investigating whether three delivery trucks from France were part of an alleged bomb plot, it was reported Sunday.
The trucks belonged to three suspects arrested last week for allegedly plotting a massive attack in Germany near, or on, the sixth anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks in the United States, Deutsche Welle reported.
The two German converts to Islam and a Turkish resident,are accused of having bomb-making materials, detonators and contact with terrorist cells in Pakistan and Syria, Deutsche Welle reported.
German authorities were tipped to the alleged plot by U.S. intelligence agents monitoring the Internet for suspected terrorist communications.
