Taipei - US basketball star Kobe Bryant arrived in Taipei Thursday for a one-day visit on his five-stop Nike Supernatural Asian Tour. Hundreds of screaming fans, chanting his name and waving posters, met Bryant when he arrived in a Nike Lear jet at the Taoyuan International Airport from Manila.
Bryant, a superstar of the NBA's LA Lakers, will open a Nike flagship store in Taipei Thursday evening and supervise a basketball workshop with Taiwan students Friday morning, before departing for Hong Kong, Shanghai and Beijing.
