CompTIA Announces Board of Directors for 2010

Bob O’Malley, chief executive officer of InFocus® Corporation, Portland, Ore., the industry pioneer in digital projection technology, will serve as chairman of the CompTIA Board of Directors for the second consecutive year.

CompTIA also welcomes two new members to its board in 2010.

Mike Parrotino is vice president, Personal Systems Group Sales and Management, Solution Partners Organization – Americas, Hewlett-Packard Company, Palo Alto, Calif., the world’s largest technology company with a portfolio that spans printing, personal computing, software, services and IT infrastructure. Parrotino leads a team responsible for executing HP’s overall PSG go-to-market strategy for partner programs, partner development, training and communications.

Robert Stegner is senior vice president, marketing, North America, SYNNEX Corporation, Fremont, Calif., a leading business process services company, servicing resellers and original equipment manufacturers in regions around the world. Stegner is responsible for all company marketing efforts in the United States and Canada.

Incumbents remaining on the CompTIA Board of Directors for another year are:

• Mariano Dy-Liacco, director, client solutions, Insight Enterprises, Inc., Tempe, Ariz., a leading, global provider of technology solutions.
• Robert Godgart, founder and chief executive officer, Autotask Corporation, East Greenbush, N.Y., the leading provider of innovative, web-based Business Management Software and Services designed exclusively for IT service providers, MSPs, IT consultants, systems integrators and other technology solution providers.
• Lester Keizer, chief executive officer, Connecting Point Technology Center, Las Vegas, Nev., a leading provider of business continuity services and technology solutions for small and mid-size business.
• Charles R. Lennon, president, TeamLogic IT®, Mission Viejo, Calif., a nationwide network of computer consultation, managed services and repair businesses providing outsourced IT services to thousands of businesses.
• Kerry McDonough, director, Cisco Small Business Channel Sales, Cisco, Systems, Inc., San Jose, Calif., the worldwide leader in networking for the Internet.
• Michael K. Menegay, chief executive officer and president, Mobile Armor, Inc., St. Louis, a leader in mobile data protection, full disk encryption and USB flash drive encryption solutions.
